Casas de Porto Bom are the result of the careful restoration of two rustic houses, in the heart of the rural settlement of Porto Bom, in the municipality of Ponte da Barca, at the top of the mountain range of Oural.

The rural village of Porto Bom still retains many of the ancient agricultural and pastoral traditions typical of the mountain villages of Minho, because it’s still very much linked to extensive small farming and pastoralism.

The two houses (Casa do Lagar and Casa do Padre) are totally independent and have been restored keeping the typical traces of the region but endowing them with the modern comfort conditions.

The ideal place for a restful days in communion with the rural world, within walking distance of the Peneda-Gerês National Park.
